Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership & Strategy: Act as a brand ambassador, promoting L'AGENCE's culture both internally and externally.
  • Drive financial performance by analyzing and implementing improvements based on retail KPIs.
  • Ensure effective floor coverage, achieve financial objectives, maintain visual merchandising standards, and oversee client service and operational functions.
  • Collaborate with various departments, including Operations, Visual Merchandising, and HR, to advance business goals.
  • Develop and execute strategic business plans to enhance performance and address opportunities.
  • Maintain a store atmosphere that reflects the brand's image.
  • Foster a positive work environment across the store and with cross-functional teams.

Client Engagement:

  • Focus on client acquisition and retention, nurturing relationships for the store and brand.
  • Ensure that you and your team deliver exceptional client experiences across all engagement channels.
  • Adopt a solution-oriented approach to resolving customer service challenges.
  • Oversee the Client Consignment business, ensuring efficient processes and timely merchandise returns.

Marketing Initiatives:

  • Collaborate with Store Teams and Headquarters to create and execute in-store events aimed at client acquisition and retention.
  • Build a local network of influencers and partners to promote the brand and enhance client loyalty.

Team Development:

  • Align work schedules with store objectives.
  • Manage and resolve workplace conflicts effectively.
  • Attract and retain talent for the retail location.
  • Continuously coach, motivate, and develop team members to achieve performance goals and growth opportunities.
  • Lead store meetings as necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with legal, safety, and internal procedures.

Visual Standards:

  • Ensure the store's image aligns with corporate standards and that the team upholds these standards.
  • Support visual merchandising efforts in accordance with guidelines and local market trends.

Operational Excellence:

  • Ensure accurate physical inventory management, including regular cycle counts and reconciliations.
  • Facilitate merchandise receipts and transfer requests.
  • Safeguard company assets, including cash handling and inventory.
  • Take on additional projects as needed to support business objectives.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a managerial role.
  • Experience in women's apparel retail is preferred, especially in Contemporary or Luxury sectors.
  • Ability to create, manage, and adhere to deadlines effectively.
  • Familiarity with key retail performance metrics.
  • Adaptable, open-minded, and an active listener.
  • Strong organizational, writing, and communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 Suite and POS software.
  • Comfortable with technology, including PC and iOS devices.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
  • Physical ability to climb ladders and lift up to 25 lbs.
