Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Strategy: Act as a brand ambassador, promoting L'AGENCE's culture both internally and externally.
- Drive financial performance by analyzing and implementing improvements based on retail KPIs.
- Ensure adequate floor coverage, meet financial goals, maintain visual merchandising standards, and uphold exceptional client service.
- Collaborate with various departments including Operations, Visual Merchandising, and HR to propel the business forward.
- Develop and execute strategic business plans to enhance performance and address opportunities.
- Maintain an inviting store atmosphere that reflects the brand's image.
- Foster a positive work environment across the store and among cross-functional teams.
Client Engagement:
- Focus on client acquisition and retention, building lasting relationships for the store and brand.
- Ensure that your team delivers outstanding client experiences across all engagement channels.
- Adopt a solution-oriented approach to resolve customer service challenges.
- Oversee the Client Consignment business, ensuring efficiency and timely processing.
Marketing Initiatives:
- Collaborate with store teams and headquarters to design and implement events that attract and retain clients.
- Establish a local network of influencers and partners to enhance brand visibility and client loyalty.
Team Development:
- Align work schedules with store objectives.
- Manage and resolve workplace conflicts effectively.
- Attract and retain top talent for the retail location.
- Continuously coach and develop team members to meet performance goals and foster growth opportunities.
- Lead store meetings as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with legal, safety, and internal procedures.
Visual Standards:
- Ensure the store's visual presentation aligns with corporate standards.
- Support visual merchandising efforts in accordance with guidelines, considering local market trends.
Operational Excellence:
- Oversee the accuracy of physical inventory, including regular cycle counts and reconciliations.
- Initiate and complete merchandise receipts and transfer requests.
- Safeguard company assets, including cash handling and inventory management.
- Additional responsibilities may arise based on business needs.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a managerial role.
- Experience in women's apparel retail is preferred, particularly in Contemporary or Luxury sectors.
- Ability to create, manage, and adhere to deadlines effectively.
- Familiarity with key retail performance metrics.
- Adaptable, open-minded, and a compassionate listener.
- Strong organizational, writing, and communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 Suite and POS systems.
- Comfortable with technology, including PC and iOS devices.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
- Physical ability to climb ladders and lift 25+ lbs.
