Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership & Strategy: Act as a brand ambassador, promoting the culture of L'AGENCE both internally and externally.
  • Drive financial performance by analyzing and implementing improvements based on retail KPIs.
  • Ensure adequate floor coverage, meet financial objectives, maintain visual merchandising standards, and uphold operational excellence.
  • Collaborate with various departments, including Operations, Visual Merchandising, and HR, to propel the business forward.
  • Develop and execute strategic business plans to enhance performance and address challenges.
  • Maintain a store environment that reflects the brand's image.
  • Foster a positive workplace culture within the team and across the store network.

Client Engagement:

  • Focus on client acquisition and retention, building strong relationships with customers.
  • Ensure that all team members deliver exceptional client experiences across all engagement channels.
  • Adopt a solution-oriented approach to resolving customer service challenges.
  • Oversee the Client Consignment business, ensuring efficient processes and timely merchandise returns.

Marketing Initiatives:

  • Collaborate with store teams and headquarters to design and implement events aimed at client acquisition and retention.
  • Establish a local network of influencers and partners to enhance brand visibility and foster client loyalty.

Team Development:

  • Align work schedules with store objectives to optimize performance.
  • Effectively manage and resolve workplace conflicts.
  • Attract and retain top talent for the retail location.
  • Continuously coach and develop team members to help them achieve their performance goals and explore growth opportunities.
  • Lead store meetings as necessary to drive business objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with legal, safety, and internal policies.

Visual Merchandising:

  • Ensure the store's visual presentation aligns with corporate standards.
  • Support the execution of visual merchandising in accordance with guidelines while considering local market trends.

Operational Excellence:

  • Ensure accurate inventory management, including regular cycle counts and reconciliations.
  • Facilitate the processing of merchandise receipts and transfers.
  • Safeguard company assets, including cash, inventory, and expenses.
  • Be prepared to take on additional responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a managerial role.
  • Experience in women's apparel retail is preferred, particularly in Contemporary or Luxury sectors.
  • Proficient in managing deadlines and organizational tasks.
  • Familiarity with key retail performance metrics.
  • Adaptable, open-minded, and a compassionate listener.
  • Strong organizational, writing, and communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 Suite and POS systems.
  • Comfortable with technology, including PC and iOS devices.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
  • Physical ability to climb ladders and lift 25+ lbs.
