Job Summary

The Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Administrative Coordinator II to provide exceptional support to the Executive Director. This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the success of the Lone Star UAS Center of Excellence and Innovation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the Executive Director, including calendar management, travel arrangements, and meeting coordination.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of front-office administrative operations, including event planning and coordination.
  • Identify and recommend process improvements for administrative procedures and implement changes as needed.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records and reports, including compliance reports and summaries.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of projects and initiatives.
  • Provide technical information and support to staff and stakeholders on administrative procedures and services.
  • Prepare and present administrative reports and project summaries to the Executive Director and other stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Three years of related experience in administration, preferably in a higher education setting.
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
  • Advanced organizational planning and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Four years of administration experience in a higher education setting.
  • Experience with Islander Buy, Laserfiche, Business Objects, and Workday.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite and Smartsheet.
