Position Overview: In the role of Processing and Packaging Engineering Manager for Food and Beverage, you will take on a leadership position responsible for crafting and implementing technical solutions for both existing and new products/packages, focusing on processing and packaging machinery and infrastructure. You will oversee relationships with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), assist production facilities in troubleshooting and enhancing technical capabilities, and explore new technologies applicable to specific projects across our network.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee engineering capital projects within the food and beverage sector.
  • Design and execute technical solutions for processing and packaging equipment.
  • Manage project scope, budget, and timelines effectively.
  • Simultaneously handle multiple projects, ensuring the successful installation of purchased equipment or facility enhancements.
  • Collaborate as a key member of cross-functional teams.
  • Encourage a culture of feedback and learning from both internal clients and external customers.
  • Engage with contractors and equipment manufacturers to ensure project success.
  • Coordinate resources to address production, utility, and structural challenges.
  • Ensure all projects adhere to local and corporate standards.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to project team members.
  • Communicate project status to relevant stakeholders to keep them informed.
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations.
  • Update documentation to finalize design, manufacturing, and commercial introduction plans.
  • Stay informed on plant and industry technical requirements.
  • Support safety and quality objectives across the organization.
  • Validate final designs with stakeholders to ensure alignment with customer specifications and business goals.
  • Complete project closeout processes, including documentation and transfer of project records.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in an engineering discipline.
  • 4 to 7 years of engineering experience in the food and beverage industry.
  • Strong experience with plant equipment and beverage processing.
  • Excellent technical and analytical abilities.
  • Proficient in oral and written communication in English.
  • Able to interpret technical diagrams effectively.
  • Competent in using Microsoft Office software.
  • Demonstrate integrity, self-confidence, accountability, and collaboration.
  • Maintain composure under pressure.
  • Understand the complexities and interdependencies of information and events.
Travel Requirements: 51% to 75%.
