We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team at Aparium Hotel Group. As a key member of our Food and Beverage department, you will be responsible for leading the Restaurants, Cafe, Bar and In-Room Dining Service Team to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities- Lead by Example: Demonstrate a strong work ethic and lead by example, inspiring your team to deliver exceptional service and maintain high standards.
- Recruitment and Training: Assist in the recruitment, training, and development of Restaurant, Cafe, Bar and In-Room Dining Service Team associates to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to deliver exceptional service.
- Service Delivery: Ensure timely set-up of the dining room and adhere to Food and Beverage standards and guest requests through active communication with the F&B Department.
- Inventory Management: Assist in managing inventory, control breakage/loss reduction of china, glass and silver related to restaurant services, and inspect and oversee the cleanliness and maintenance of all restaurant space, public areas, and service areas.
- Communication: Maintain regular communication with the F&B Management team to provide updates, discuss plans, communicate needs, and align on priorities.
- Leadership Experience: Minimum of five (5) years' experience in restaurant service, with at least two (2) years' experience in a leadership role.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Word, Excel, and other applicable computer systems, as well as baseline-level knowledge of reservations systems, POS systems, and reporting and inventory management tools.
- Knowledge and Certifications: Baseline understanding of excellent service, labor control, maintenance, merchandising, and accounting, as well as ability to obtain and/or maintain Alcohol Awareness certification and Food Handlers Certification.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time, push, pull, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in extreme temperatures.
