Key Responsibilities
  • Food and Beverage Operations
    • Assist the manager in directing, implementing, and maintaining a service and management philosophy that ensures 100% guest satisfaction.
    • Oversee the daily operations of our food and beverage outlets, including the Burger Place, Grab 'n Go, Bar, and Banquet Beverage.
    • Ensure that all food and beverage services are provided in accordance with hotel standards and policies.
  • Staff Management
    • Assist the manager in directing, implementing, and maintaining a service and management philosophy that ensures 100% guest satisfaction.
    • Supervise and train staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide exceptional guest service.
    • Monitor and maintain the cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned work areas.
  • Guest Relations
    • Anticipate guests' needs and respond promptly to guests' requests, ensuring guest satisfaction.
    • Be familiar with all hotel services and local attractions to respond to guest inquiries accurately.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Review the daily activities, such as house count, forecasted covers for each outlet, catering activity, purchases, meetings, appointments, VIPs/special guests.
    • Complete work orders for maintenance repairs and submit to Engineering.
    • Assist the manager with monitoring and providing feedback to staff on their performance and development.
Requirements
  • Education
    • High school diploma or equivalent vocational training certificate.
    • Associates or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Hospitality preferred.
  • Experience
    • 3-5 years experience in the hospitality industry and in management or supervisory role.
  • Certifications
    • Manager Food Handler's Certificate and TABC certificate required.
  • Skills
    • Ability to communicate in English both verbally and in writing.
    • Knowledge of various food service styles.
    • Knowledge of Food and Beverage cost controls.
    • Minimum of 18 years of age to serve alcohol.
    • Knowledge of menu development.
    • Previous guest relations training and experience.
    • Ability to suggestively sell.
    • Exert physical effort in transporting up to 25 pounds to and from the work area.
    • Reach overhead full arm's length.
    • Ability to move freely within the hotel.
    • Ability to walk and stand continuously.
