Position Summary:
We are in search of a Senior Architect/Project Manager who possesses a comprehensive understanding of K-12 design, construction, and operational processes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in owner representation, scheduling, cost management, and project oversight. Exceptional communication, analytical, and collaborative skills are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee construction projects, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
  • Serve as the primary liaison among Heery, clients, architects, contractors, and consultants throughout all project phases.
  • Establish and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring their needs are met with the highest standards of service.
  • Manage project finances, including invoicing and financial reporting.
  • Develop and implement detailed project plans, including performance management and change control processes.
  • Facilitate effective communication within the project team and with clients through regular meetings and updates.
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards and project governance.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements in project management methodologies.

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in AutoCAD or Revit.
  • Strategic advisory skills during project conception stages.
  • Strong time management abilities to ensure projects meet quality and efficiency standards.
  • Proven experience in building collaborative relationships with clients and team members.
  • Excellent command of Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with project management software.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 10 years in architectural or construction management roles.
  • Experience managing capital improvement projects for K-12, government, or non-profit entities.
  • Registered architect, CCM, PMP, or similar certifications are advantageous.
