Salary Range: $75,000 - $110,000 / annually*
Key Responsibilities:
In collaboration with the Project Manager, support the strategic planning, organization, oversight, integration, and successful execution of engineering initiatives. Responsibilities may encompass the development of work scopes and the organization of cost structures. Generate General Contractor shop drawings under the guidance of the Superintendent for utilization by construction teams. Engage in job layout activities and validate elevations and dimensions. Scrutinize all subcontractor and vendor shop drawings, product data, samples, manuals, etc., ensuring adherence to contract specifications. Supervise testing and inspection documentation and safety inspection reports. Identify and formalize project alterations and prepare estimates for change order work as necessary. Address conflicting, incomplete, or unclear design information, collaborating with designers, engineers, and clients to resolve constructability challenges. Document resolutions through Requests for Information (RFI). Update billing, tracking, and project budget forecasts.
Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Construction Engineering and Management, Architecture, or a related discipline, along with a minimum of 2 years of progressive experience in the offered position or in civil engineering, construction management, or architecture roles.
Specialized Skills: The position necessitates at least 1 year of experience with:
- Autodesk software suites including Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks.
- Contractor-facing authoring and collaboration tools such as Revit, Tekla, AutoCAD MEP, or Inventor.
- Implementation and support of Autodesk BIM 360 products: Glue, Field, and Docs.
- Utilizing and supporting Autodesk Navisworks Manage.
