Job Summary:

The Leadership Training Specialist plays a crucial role in handling all aspects of training logistics for the various Leadership Academy trainings, both on-site and off-site. This position works closely with the Leadership Academy Manager and the Professional Learning team to update, develop, and facilitate new and existing Leadership Academy trainings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement Leadership Academy on-site and off-site logistics, maintaining evaluation summaries and assisting with quotes for marketing.
  • Manage recruitment and registration processes of Leadership Academy participants, completing Training Intake Forms and submitting them to the Administrative Assistant.
  • Maintain records and hard-copy file storage for leadership academies, coordinating catering and food service needs with the Administrative Assistant.
  • Assist the Administrative Assistant in preparing training materials for travel or shipment.
  • Communicate with academy participants and partners, providing mentoring and technical assistance to Leadership Academy participants.
  • Work with the Leadership Academy Manager to create and update handouts and PowerPoints, develop and facilitate Leadership Academy trainings, and establish relationships with all academy participants.
  • Participate in debrief, reflection, and planning sessions, tracking and implementing changes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Leadership, Early Childhood Education, or Adult Learning theory.
  • Three to five years of experience in adult teaching/coaching.
  • One to three years of Customer Service experience in both written and verbal communications with participants.
