Key Responsibilities- Oversee the physical maintenance and operations of buildings, facilities, and building systems.
- Assist with planning and execution of building construction or renovation projects.
- Supervise maintenance and housekeeping departments, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and safety.
- Conduct regular assessments and maintenance of all physical facilities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement standardized reporting and documentation tools to ensure compliance with regulatory entities.
- Provide organizational leadership for Environmental Services, directing operational activities and ensuring the cleanliness and appearance of our facilities.
- Establish and manage a program of facility life safety, including managing and maintaining life safety systems and infrastructure.
- Serve as the leader of the Environment of Care (EOC) committee, ensuring standards compliance with regards to construction and maintenance activities.
- Attend educational forums for healthcare facility and EMS operations management, staying up-to-date on best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field or 6 years of experience in lieu of degree.
- Five (5) years of related facilities management experience, with experience within hospital facilities management preferred.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to supervise and motivate staff.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively with various stakeholders.
