Job Summary

Credit Management Company is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Patient Account Representative to join our team. As a Patient Account Representative, you will be responsible for communicating with patients via telephone, managing multiple accounts, and resolving patient account balances.

Key Responsibilities
  • Communicate with patients via telephone to resolve account balances and provide excellent customer service.
  • Manage multiple accounts to ensure timely resolution of patient account balances.
  • Negotiate settlements and payment plans with patients under specific guidelines and collect and process payments on accounts.
  • Keep detailed records of all customer communications, payment plans, and amounts paid.
  • Use automated dialing technology to efficiently manage patient interactions.
  • Follow scripting specific to client requirements, state and federal laws, and navigate multiple databases and healthcare provider systems to obtain information regarding the medical treatment of patients.
  • Meet and/or exceed monthly financial goals.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
  • 2 years call center experience required.
  • 2 years medical billing / insurance verification experience required.
  • 1 year successful remote experience required.
  • Demonstrated skill in negotiating and resolving conflicts.
  • Ability to speak persuasively and listen critically.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and meet tight deadlines, demonstrating a high level of attention to detail.
  • Excellent customer service, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Possess excellent computer skills and the ability to succeed in a virtual, fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to think critically and investigate to find resolutions for patients.
  • Must be reliable, responsible, goal-oriented, and flexible.
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment screening.
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish a plus.
