About the Role

Twin Farms, a renowned Five Star hotel, seeks a highly skilled Sous Chef to join our culinary team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a vital role in driving the success of our kitchen operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef to develop and implement kitchen management strategies, ensuring exceptional quality and consistency in our culinary offerings.
  • Lead and motivate the culinary team, providing guidance and support to ensure seamless kitchen operations.
  • Assist in managing labor resources, including staff scheduling, payroll verification, and employee evaluation.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of the culinary team.
  • Assume leadership responsibilities in the absence of the Executive Chef, overseeing kitchen staff and production.
  • Monitor food production, ordering, inventory, cost, quality, and consistency, ensuring alignment with our Five Star standards.
  • Contribute to menu development, proposing innovative and creative ideas that enhance our culinary offerings.
  • Coordinate special events and holiday functions, ensuring exceptional culinary experiences for our guests.
  • Collaborate with other hotel departments to provide exceptional service and support.
  • Ensure compliance with department safety procedures and policies, maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
Requirements
  • Culinary education and/or on-the-job training with hotel and fine dining experience preferred.
  • Previous experience cooking in a fine dining restaurant.
