About the Role

Twin Farms is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our culinary team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of quality and excellence in our kitchen operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Executive Chef in managing kitchen operations, including menu planning, inventory management, and staff supervision.
  • Develop and implement effective training programs for kitchen staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to create innovative and delicious menu offerings that meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Ensure that all kitchen operations are conducted in a safe and efficient manner, with a focus on maintaining high standards of cleanliness and sanitation.
  • Provide exceptional leadership and guidance to kitchen staff, promoting a positive and supportive work environment.
  • Work closely with other hotel departments to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, and implement new ideas and initiatives to drive culinary excellence.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a senior culinary role, preferably in a fine dining restaurant or hotel.
  • Proven track record of success in menu planning, inventory management, and staff supervision.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures, with the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on attention to detail and quality.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
