Twin Farms is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our culinary team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of quality and excellence in our kitchen operations.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with the Executive Chef to develop and implement menu concepts, recipes, and presentation styles that showcase our culinary expertise.
- Lead and manage a team of cooks and kitchen staff to ensure seamless execution of menu items, maintaining high standards of quality, presentation, and timeliness.
- Develop and implement effective training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of kitchen staff, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Monitor and control kitchen inventory, ordering, and waste management to optimize efficiency and minimize costs.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
- Collaborate with other departments to provide exceptional guest experiences, responding to feedback and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Stay up-to-date with culinary trends, techniques, and innovations, applying this knowledge to enhance our menu offerings and guest experiences.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a high-volume, fine dining kitchen, with a proven track record of leadership and team management.
- Strong culinary skills, with expertise in menu planning, recipe development, and kitchen operations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations, with the ability to maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, with frequent standing, walking, and bending.
