Role Summary

In the capacity of an Assistant Property Manager, you will collaborate closely with the Property Manager to oversee daily operations and enhance the living experience within our community. Your responsibilities will encompass conducting sales presentations, leading property tours, and implementing marketing strategies aimed at attracting prospective residents. This role also involves lease renewals, problem resolution, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction, all while adhering to the core values of Eenhoorn.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Prepare purchase orders as necessary.
  • Review, code, and submit invoices for payment processing.
  • Maintain and update records in the property management system.
  • Facilitate lease agreements and renewals.
  • Respond to emergency calls and manage after-hours maintenance issues.
  • Coordinate with maintenance staff to ensure timely and effective service delivery.
  • Develop and execute marketing initiatives to attract new residents.
  • Organize resident events and retention programs, and conduct orientations for new residents.
  • Maintain accurate resident files and documentation.
  • Foster positive relationships within the community.
  • Assist in rent collection and financial record-keeping.
  • Conduct daily inspections of model units and leasing offices to uphold company standards.
  • Provide updates on property conditions and rental status to the Area Property Manager.
  • Address resident inquiries and concerns in the absence of the Property Manager.

Qualifications for Success

  • Familiarity with fair housing laws and landlord/tenant regulations.
  • Strong organizational and bookkeeping skills.
  • Exceptional customer service and communication abilities.
  • Proficient interpersonal, motivational, writing, management, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to analyze financial data and prepare budget reports.
  • Professional demeanor with a commitment to integrity.
  • Demonstrated sense of urgency in task completion.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced office environment.
  • Strong work ethic and meticulous attention to detail.
