NorthStar Memorial Group is in search of an Administrative Support Specialist to join our dedicated team. This role is essential in facilitating smooth operations throughout the various stages of the sensitive client family journey, from initial consultations to final arrangements. Our administrative professionals serve as the backbone of our client support system, ensuring that every detail is meticulously managed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain master files, including creating and providing copies, merging and duplicating documents, tracking files, and scanning into the management information system.
  • Handle a high volume of incoming calls using a multi-line telephone system.
  • Verify the accuracy of invoices and ensure they are properly coded before submission to the accounts payable department.
  • Assist leadership with the preparation and procurement of necessary materials, such as brochures, business cards, name badges, and training resources.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in an administrative support role.
  • Proficient in computer applications, including Windows, MS Word, MS Excel, and database management software.
  • Strong ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
  • Willingness to learn new software and adapt to new tasks.
  • Excellent professional communication and organizational skills.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.

Compensation: $24-$26 per hour.
