Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Guest Service Associate to join our team at Global Partners LP. As a Guest Service Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, operating a cash register, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service: Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner, respond to customer inquiries, and resolve customer complaints in a timely and effective manner.
  • Cash Handling: Operate a cash register, handle customer transactions, and maintain accurate cash handling procedures.
  • Store Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including sweeping and mopping floors, emptying trash containers, and restocking shelves.
  • Inventory Management: Receive and stock merchandise, manage inventory levels, and conduct cycle counts.
  • Yard Maintenance: Perform yard maintenance tasks, including sweeping, shoveling, and painting.
  • Light Equipment Maintenance: Perform light equipment maintenance tasks, including checking pumps, lighting, and machinery.
  • Merchandising: Maintain attractive store displays, including arranging merchandise and creating visual displays.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and management, including responding to customer inquiries and resolving conflicts.

Requirements:

  • Availability: Availability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
  • Reliability: Reliable transportation to and from work.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, bend, reach, and stand for long periods.
