Job Title: Lead Clinical Social Worker - Clinical Operations Manager

Department: Family Services

Reports To: Regional Clinical Supervisor

FLSA Status: Exempt

Salary Range: $78,000 to $80,000

New Hire Bonus: $3,000

Position Summary: The Lead Clinician is responsible for the center's clinical operations, administration, and oversight of the clinical services for Unaccompanied Children. The Lead Clinician is responsible for implementing treatment protocols approved by the RCS, developing behavioral plans, assessments, conducting utilization review, and evaluation of the program and services after unification with sponsor.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clinical Operations: Oversees the day-to-day clinical operations, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and licensing standards.
  • Staff Supervision: Directly supervises employees in the Department, providing guidance, coaching, and mentoring to ensure high-quality services.
  • Program Development: Develops and implements treatment protocols, behavioral plans, and assessments to ensure effective services for Unaccompanied Children.
  • Quality Improvement: Participates in quality improvement activities, ensuring compliance with ORR and clinical documentation deadlines.
  • Communication: Communicates effectively with the inter-disciplinary team, program staff, minors, sponsors, resource parents, and community providers.
  • Crisis Intervention: Provides coverage for and responds to crisis situations with clinical interventions when needed.
  • Documentation: Ensures progress notes are submitted 48 hours after a service is delivered, but not later than Friday of the same week.
  • Training and Development: Provides consultation to clinical staff and other service providers to ensure coordination of care.
  • Compliance: Monitors and oversees the program's clinical activities, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and licensing standards.

Requirements:

  • Education: Master's degree in social work, psychology, or other relevant behavioral science.
  • Experience: 2 years of post-graduate direct service delivery preferred, with previous supervisory/management experience.
  • Licensure: Must be active with Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS).
  • Language: Bilingual in Spanish required.
