About the Role:

The Director of Business Development is a key position at Pinnacle Group, responsible for driving revenue growth in the San Antonio market. This role requires a sales executive who can generate leads, build a pipeline of sales opportunities, advance the sales process, and close new business while achieving a sales quota.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify business opportunities by researching and analyzing sales potential, evaluating client feasibility and readiness, and developing relationships with corporate clients and local brokers.
  • Build a high level of knowledge of products and services to offer appropriate solutions to clients.
  • Sell products and services by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects, both corporately and in the broker community.
  • Nurture relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance, researching and recommending new opportunities, and recommending service improvements.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional organizations.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of sales experience in a B2B environment.
  • Consultative selling approach.
  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Preferred 2-5 years of selling experience in the employee benefits space.
  • Strong attention to detail, time management, and follow-through skills.
  • Ability to adapt to a flexible work environment, including remote work and travel.

Preferred Skills:

  • Proven sales record of success in a B2B industry.
  • Salesforce experience.
  • CRM experience.
  • Presentation experience.

Compensation and Benefits:

The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity, and location of the role, as well as the skills, education, training, credentials, and experience of the candidate.
