Job Summary

The Director of Revenue-Hotel is a key leadership position responsible for driving revenue growth and maximizing profitability at The Gunter Hotel. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of revenue management principles and a proven track record of success in driving revenue growth.

Responsibilities
  • Revenue Strategy and Planning: Develop and implement revenue strategies to drive growth and maximize profitability. Collaborate with the General Manager and Sales team to set revenue goals and develop action plans to achieve them.
  • Revenue Management: Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities to drive revenue growth. Develop and implement yield management strategies to maximize revenue from all distribution channels.
  • Inventory Management: Collaborate with the front office team to optimize inventory management and maximize revenue through effective upselling and sell-out efficiency.
  • Sales and Marketing: Work closely with the Sales and Marketing team to develop and implement strategies to drive group and catering business. Ensure hotel meeting space is properly utilized to maximize room and food and beverage revenue potential.
  • Brand and Channel Management: Manage brand and third-party channels to maximize revenue. Work with OTA market managers to develop and implement promotions and marketing programs to drive revenue growth.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Analyze revenue reports to identify trends and opportunities to drive revenue growth. Develop and implement reporting and analysis tools to support revenue management decisions.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and develop a team of revenue professionals to support revenue growth and maximize profitability.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree in business, statistics, revenue management, or hospitality preferred.
  • Experience: At least 5 years of progressive experience in a hotel or related field required. Marriott experience preferred.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
