Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Director of Revenue Management to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for optimizing hotel revenue by analyzing market trends, forecasting demand, and implementing effective selling strategies. This role requires strong analytical skills, the ability to identify relevant data, and a deep understanding of hotel operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement revenue management strategies to maximize room and catering revenue.
  • Monitor distribution channels to ensure effective selling through inventory management, market mix, and pricing.
  • Communicate demand patterns to the revenue team and assist with forecasting.
  • Work closely with the General Manager, Director of Sales, and Front Office Manager to establish strategies for revenue growth.
  • Conduct competitor price and product analyses to ensure proper rate positioning and product offering.
  • Participate in pricing decisions for transient, group, and wholesale segments.
  • Facilitate weekly sales and revenue strategy meetings.
  • Interview, hire, train, and recommend performance evaluations for team members.
  • Contribute to the financial success of the hotel through participation in annual budgeting and sales and marketing planning.
  • Generate and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly revenue management reports.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Hotel Administration, Business, Statistics, Marketing, Finance, or a relevant field.
  • Two years of revenue management experience.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to identify relevant data.
  • Deep understanding of hotel operations, including marketing plans, security and safety programs, personnel and labor relations, and budget forecasting.
  • Ability to use PMS, reservation, and revenue management systems to forecast and implement optimal strategies.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
