Position Highlights:

As a psychiatrist within our organization, you will benefit from:

In your role as an outpatient geriatric psychiatrist, you will be part of a dedicated team focused on enhancing mental health services for older adults. This includes working closely with primary care, neuropsychology, and other specialists to provide comprehensive care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Consult with healthcare providers to manage the behavioral health needs of patients.
  • Engage with patients and their families to create effective treatment plans.
  • Lead educational initiatives on psychiatric topics for staff.
  • Participate in on-call rotations as needed.

Qualifications:

  • MD, DO, or equivalent medical training required.
  • Preferred completion of a geriatric fellowship.
  • Board eligible/certified with relevant medical boards.
  • Active medical license in the state of practice.
  • Ability to obtain necessary certifications and credentials.

Physical Requirements:

Medium work, including occasional lifting of up to 32 lbs and frequent lifting of up to 25 lbs.
