Job Title: Court Services Consultant

Join the Office of Court Administration as a Court Services Consultant and contribute to the efficient administration of the Judicial Branch of Texas.

Job Summary:

The Court Services Consultant will provide technical assistance and consulting services to judges, clerks, and court personnel on court administration matters, with a primary emphasis on caseflow management. This role will conduct caseflow management reviews in Texas courts, provide training on caseflow management, and develop and implement projects and programs to improve the administrative operation of the courts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical assistance and consulting services to judges, clerks, and court personnel on court administration matters.
  • Conduct caseflow management reviews in Texas courts.
  • Develop and implement projects and programs to improve the administrative operation of the courts.
  • Provide training on caseflow management and specialty court operations.
  • Assist in OCA's clearinghouse function by providing information on best practices and innovative court programs in Texas and other states.
Requirements:
  • Graduation from an accredited college or university with major course work in business administration, court administration, public administration, or related field.
  • Three years of experience as a clerk, in court administration, or court management.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently with high-ranking public officials and elected officials.
