Manufacturing Engineer GEP

At General Engine Products LLC, we are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing manufacturing processes that meet our high standards of quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement manufacturing processes, including production flow, assembly methods, and production and test equipment.
- Coordinate changes to assembly process flow, including process control plans.
- Carry out process improvements, problem resolution, project management, and employee training.
- Design, develop, and test tools, machinery, and equipment for recommended manufacturing processes.
- Prepare and maintain layouts of buildings, tools, and equipment.
- Assure compliance with Quality Management System (QMS) requirements.
- Develop and document quality systems for new programs.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Five plus years of experience in automotive assembly (powertrain assembly preferred).
- Working knowledge of MS office applications (MS Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint).
- AutoCAD proficiency preferred.
- PLC programming and troubleshooting experience preferred.
- Technical skills in manufacturing processes and methods.
Working Conditions:

- Listening skills: This position will need to understand how to use machinery properly and safely.
- Ability to follow instructions: Managers assign tasks and responsibilities.
- Methodical approach: Production lines follow a set process.
- Concentration: This position may perform the same or similar tasks repeatedly.
