Job Summary

The Patient Service Representative plays a vital role in ensuring patient satisfaction by providing exceptional customer service to Community Medical Group's Medicare and Medicaid members.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Respond to patient inquiries in a timely and professional manner, ensuring that all calls are answered within three rings.
  2. Follow up with patients regarding primary care physician (PCP) appointments to ensure seamless care coordination.
  3. Remind patients of upcoming appointments to minimize no-shows and improve patient engagement.
  4. Assist patients with scheduling PCP appointments and address any concerns or questions they may have.
  5. Proactively reach out to patients who have missed appointments to understand the reasons behind their absence and provide support to improve their experience.
  6. Prepare and submit daily reports to the Director of Patient Services, highlighting key metrics and trends to inform business decisions.
  7. Conduct welcome calls to assess patient satisfaction with Community Medical Group's services and their current health plan.
  8. Provide administrative support to patients, including verifying enrollment status, checking appointment schedules, and addressing any other concerns they may have.
  9. Collaborate with the Broker to ensure that all necessary information is provided to patients and that any issues are promptly resolved.
  10. Verify that patients have received a tour of the center during the enrollment process.

Requirements

  1. High school diploma or equivalent required.
  2. Previous experience in customer service and/or a clinical setting is highly desirable.
  3. Proficiency in MS Office programs is essential.
