Job Summary
The Patient Service Representative plays a vital role in ensuring patient satisfaction by providing exceptional customer service to Community Medical Group's Medicare and Medicaid members.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to patient inquiries in a timely and professional manner, ensuring that all calls are answered within three rings.
- Follow up with patients regarding primary care physician (PCP) appointments to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Remind patients of upcoming appointments to minimize no-shows and improve patient engagement.
- Assist patients with scheduling PCP appointments and address any concerns or questions they may have.
- Proactively reach out to patients who have missed appointments to understand the reasons behind their absence and provide support to improve their experience.
- Prepare and submit daily reports to the Director of Patient Services, highlighting key metrics and trends to inform business decisions.
- Conduct welcome calls to assess patient satisfaction with Community Medical Group's services and their current health plan.
- Provide administrative support to patients, including verifying enrollment status, checking appointment schedules, and addressing any other concerns they may have.
- Collaborate with the Broker to ensure that all necessary information is provided to patients and that any issues are promptly resolved.
- Verify that patients have received a tour of the center during the enrollment process.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in customer service and/or a clinical setting is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in MS Office programs is essential.
