POSITION SUMMARY:

This armed role operates under the direct oversight of the site Manager for a high-profile location, executing a range of security-related responsibilities. Your primary duties will include monitoring and reporting activities and incidents at designated sites, ensuring the safety and security of client assets, visitors, and personnel.

As an armed security professional, you will be prepared to address unusual or emergency scenarios, employing appropriate levels of force as dictated by established protocols. You will also play a key role in maintaining order and enforcing site regulations concerning personnel, visitors, and property; managing access to client facilities through the admittance process; and responding effectively in all situations. Your responsibilities will include monitoring entry and exit points to prevent unauthorized access.

Additional tasks may involve patrolling the assigned area on foot or in a vehicle, identifying unsafe conditions such as hazards, unsecured doors, and security breaches; safeguarding evidence or scenes of incidents during emergencies or investigations; and preparing logs or reports as needed. Be prepared to encounter high-pressure situations.

Specific Duties Include:
  1. Managing access to client facilities through the admittance process; preventing unauthorized entry and protecting physical assets; assisting legitimate visitors in gaining access efficiently.
  2. Responding to emergencies using the appropriate level of force as per established protocols, maintaining proficiency in the use of assigned protective equipment and weapons.
  3. Creating an environment where all employees and visitors feel valued and attended to; ensuring courteous and respectful interactions.
  4. Communicating openly and honestly in all situations; providing authorized information about the site and surrounding areas as requested.
  5. Monitoring entry and exit points; preventing unauthorized access; managing the movement of individuals and vehicles; and directing individuals causing disturbances to leave the premises.
  6. Conducting patrols of the assigned area on foot or in a vehicle; checking for unsafe conditions, security violations, and unauthorized individuals.
  7. Safeguarding evidence or scenes of incidents during emergencies or investigations; setting up barriers and signage as necessary.
  8. Documenting logs or reports as required; maintaining accurate records of security control logs.
  9. Observing and reporting incidents or suspicious activities to appropriate personnel as necessary.
  10. Responding to various incidents, including medical emergencies, fire threats, and hazardous materials situations, following established procedures.
  11. Performing additional tasks and duties as required for the assigned site.
