Job Summary

The Association of Former Students of Texas A & M University is seeking a highly motivated and organized Human Resources Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for providing administrative support, coordinating recruitment efforts, and ensuring compliance with HR policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate recruitment efforts, including posting job vacancies, scheduling interviews, and onboarding new employees.
  • Provide administrative support to the HR department, including data entry, record-keeping, and reporting.
  • Assist with benefits administration, including open enrollment, benefits changes, and COBRA administration.
  • Support payroll processing, including timesheet review, payroll entry, and payroll reporting.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records, including employee files, benefits information, and performance evaluations.
  • Assist with employee relations, including conflict resolution, employee communications, and performance management.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in human resources, preferably in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • PHR, SHRM-CP, or similar certification preferred.
