Human Resources Business Partner

Job Summary:
The Human Resources Business Partner will play a critical role in aligning business objectives with employees and management in designated business units. This position will formulate partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflects the business objectives of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct weekly meetings with respective business units to provide HR policy guidance and interpretation.
- Consult with line management to provide HR guidance and support.
- Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs, and policies.
- Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues, conducting thorough and objective investigations.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to line management, including coaching, counseling, career development, and disciplinary actions.
- Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
- Develop contract terms for new hires, promotions, and transfers.
- Collaborate with Talent Acquisition and business units on needs assessments and recruiting needs.
- Assist international employees with expatriate assignments and related HR matters.
- Provide guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning, and succession planning.
- Identify training needs for business units and individual executive coaching needs.
- Participate in evaluation and monitoring of training programs to ensure success.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Management, or related field, with 5-6 years of related experience, or an Associate's degree with 7-8 years of experience.
- High School Diploma or GED with at least 9-10 years of related experience.
- PHR, SPHR, SHRM CP, or other HR certification is preferred.
- Prior experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or highly regulated and fast-paced industries is a plus.
- Prior HRIS implementation experience is also beneficial.
Working Conditions:
The physical demands of this role include prolonged sitting, standing, walking, bending, stooping, and stretching. The employee must use hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity to operate office equipment.
