About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Planning and Logistics Engineer to join our team at FUJIFILM Diosynth Biotechnologies. As a key member of our Automation Engineering team, you will play a critical role in providing technical and operational support to ensure the smooth execution of projects, improvements, and installations in our automation department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support automation personnel in daily activities, meetings, and non-routine tasks.
  • Coordinate and schedule daily automation support, projects, and general tasks based on priorities.
  • Search, develop, and implement improvements and techniques to optimize department operations.
  • Work with other departments and automation resources to define priorities and provide preliminary assessments for automation requests.
  • Support quality and compliance aspects, including change controls, routing, and generation, corrective actions, and qualifications.
  • Work effectively to gather information for the setup, creation, and maintenance of tracking tools, such as Smartsheets and MS Project.
  • Work with purchasing systems, including SAP, purchase requisitions, tracking order status, and deliveries.
  • Support standard operating procedure development and periodic reviews.
  • Work with CMMS systems to schedule and complete work requests.
  • Apply proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to identify, communicate, and support automation-related activities.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline and one year of relevant experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for discussing complex business processes.
  • Technical writing experience.
  • Positive, customer service-oriented skills and behavior.
  • Ability to coordinate, facilitate, and organize resources.
  • Possesses the skills and capability to plan and stay on schedule.
  • Reliable, self-motivated individual with a positive attitude and team-oriented skills.
  • Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize tasks to meet tight timelines and shifting priorities.
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communications skills and a strong attention to detail.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office products and general computer knowledge.

  • The ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Be exposed to noisy environments.
  • Travel time up to 10%.
  • Support company manufacturing activities 24/7.
  • Attendance is mandatory.
