Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Superintendent to lead our deep foundation and heavy civil construction projects. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing construction site activities, supervising field personnel, and ensuring projects are completed on schedule and within budget.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and supervise construction site activities to ensure successful project completion
  • Manage and lead field personnel to achieve project goals
  • Maintain the highest quality workmanship and ensure all safety protocols are practiced
  • Manage company assets, including construction equipment, materials, and tools
  • Lead field operations in accordance with Russo Corporation policies and procedures
  • Coordinate and oversee construction crews of 8-25 crew members
  • Plan and establish the flow of work activities on the project
  • Ensure project progress aligns with overall schedule and contract time requirements
  • Read and interpret blueprints, construction schedules, and other project management/operations schematics
  • Authorized to sign off on project work schedules, time keeping, and material delivery
  • Provide daily reports and written communication as required
  • Support and complete documentation for project compliance
  • Coach, mentor, and train team members
  • Ensure all Russo employees and contractors adhere to EEO and Safety culture
Requirements
  • 4 years of Commercial/Industrial Construction crew management experience
  • 10+ years of commercial or heavy civil construction experience preferred
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical documents, including contracts and specifications
  • Experience in scheduling, supervision, quality control, and management of civil construction projects
  • Thorough knowledge of construction practices and methods
  • Proficient knowledge of construction-related reports, workforce management assignments, and capabilities
  • OSHA 30 Hour Construction Card required
