Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with Project Managers to manage project schedules and ensure timely completion.
  • Lead job site safety initiatives and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Develop and implement quality control measures to ensure high-quality project outcomes.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with clients, project teams, and stakeholders.
  • Coordinate project logistics, including site setup and field coordination.
  • Review project documents for constructability and content, including shop drawings.
  • Manage subcontractor relationships and ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Deliver commercial outcomes by ensuring subcontractors meet performance expectations.
  • Identify and address compliance implications and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement project sequencing logic and manage temporary works.
  • Manage workflow and allocate resources effectively to meet project deadlines.
  • Maintain a robust understanding of safety requirements and drive company initiatives on site.
  • Seek out knowledge of construction trades and apply awareness to problem-solving.
  • Conduct and attend project staff meetings and use project management software effectively.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge through ongoing education and training.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Minimum 10 years of experience as a Superintendent or equivalent role in commercial construction.
  • Prior experience in successfully building projects similar in size and complexity.
  • Knowledge of construction budget best practices and local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, including self-motivation, goal setting, and conflict management.
  • Organizational skills, including time management, delegation, prioritization, and multitasking.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and related construction software.
Education:
  • Preferred four-year degree in Construction Management or related field.
  • OSHA 10/OSHA 30 Safety Certification.
