Job Title: Construction Assistant Superintendent

RQ Construction is seeking a highly skilled Construction Assistant Superintendent to join our Field Operations team. As a key member of our team, you will assist the Superintendent in overseeing the daily supervision, direction, and coordination of assigned construction work activities, employees, and subcontractors on a project jobsite.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Superintendent in ensuring the safe and efficient production of quality work, within project requirements and budget.
  • Coordinate and direct the work of employees and subcontractors to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and addressing any issues or concerns.
  • Collaborate with the Superintendent to develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry standards.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED required; college courses in construction management, engineering, or related field preferred.
  • Three or more years of experience in a lead Foreman position, with a strong background in construction management, scheduling, and quality control.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Computer literacy, with proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and other industry-standard software.
  • CPR, First Aid, and OSHA 30-hour Certifications, EM-385, and STS required; training can be provided.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Spanish-English bilingual skills desirable.
  • LEED GA Credential desirable.
