Job Title: Construction Assistant Superintendent

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Assistant Superintendent to join our team at RQC, LLC. As a key member of our Field Operations team, you will be responsible for assisting the Superintendent in overseeing the daily supervision, direction, and coordination of assigned construction work activities, employees, and subcontractors on a project jobsite.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Superintendent in ensuring that all construction work is completed safely, on time, and within budget.
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of employees and subcontractors to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with project requirements and company policies.
  • Develop and implement plans to improve construction processes and reduce costs.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure that all project requirements are met.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college courses in construction management, engineering, or related field preferred.
  • Three or more years of experience in a lead Foreman position or equivalent experience in the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and equipment.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Spanish-English bilingual skills desirable.
  • LEED GA Credential desirable.
  • Computer literacy (Microsoft Office, Outlook, Internet, etc.) required.
