About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join a reputable and growing General Contractor as a Traveling Superintendent. As a key member of the project team, you will be responsible for overseeing the construction process, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement project schedules and budgets, ensuring timely completion of projects. Supervise and mentor construction staff, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project outcomes. Foster strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and project managers to ensure seamless project delivery. Maintain accurate records and documentation, including project schedules, budgets, and progress reports. Travel to project sites as required, ensuring effective communication and collaboration with project teams. Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and maintain a safe working environment. Develop and implement strategies to overcome project challenges and ensure successful project outcomes.

Requirements

Ground-up commercial construction project experience, with a focus on retail and metal building projects. Strong technical skills, with experience using Procore or similar project management software. Proven ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and project managers. Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire project teams. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with multiple projects and deadlines. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve project challenges. Experience with project scheduling and budgeting, with a focus on ensuring timely completion of projects. Ability to travel to project sites as required, with a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
