Job Description:

As a Customer Service Associate at Walgreens, you will be responsible for delivering a distinctive and delightful customer experience. This includes registering sales on assigned cash registers, providing customers with courteous, friendly, and efficient checkout service, and engaging customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive experience for all customers.
  • Register sales on assigned cash registers, collect cash, and distribute change as requested.
  • Recommend items for sale to customers and suggest trade-up and/or companion items.
  • Keep counters and shelves clean and well-merchandised, take inventory, and maintain records.
  • Implement Company asset protection procedures to identify and minimize profit loss.
  • Ensure compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products.
  • Construct and maintain displays, including promotional, seasonal, and sale merchandise.
  • Assist with exterior and interior maintenance, ensuring a clean, neat, and orderly store condition and appearance.
Requirements:
  • Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
  • Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
  • Prefer to have prior work experience with Walgreens.
