Residential Support Specialist

The Arc of Opportunity is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our relief staff pool, you will provide direct care and support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a residential setting.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Providing guidance, hands-on assistance, and instruction to individuals with disabilities to help them attain independence and integration in the community.
- Assisting with personal care and hygiene tasks, such as toileting, transfers, and dressing.
- Performing light to medium maintenance and domestic functions, including cleaning, laundry, and cooking.
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a high school diploma or equivalent, and have experience working with individuals with disabilities. You will also need to be certified in First Aid, CPR, and MAP, and have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
