The Employee Benefits Account Manager is responsible for overseeing Employee Benefits insurance accounts and providing exceptional service. This role collaborates closely with a Producer during the marketing process for both new and renewal business. As the key liaison between clients and insurance carriers, the Account Manager fosters positive relationships to meet client needs and ensures smooth business operations.
Required Skills and Experience:
We seek an insurance professional with a minimum of two (2) years of experience in employee benefits account management within a regional or national insurance agency. Experience with self-funding is advantageous.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to work autonomously while building robust relationships with clients in a proactive and consultative manner.
Essential Skills:
Excellent communication and computer proficiency, particularly in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, are crucial for success in this role.
Licensing:
A valid state insurance license is required.
