Job Summary

The Employee Benefits Department Manager is responsible for leading and overseeing the account management team and support staff within the employee benefits division. This role ensures smooth operations, excellent client service, and adherence to company goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership & Team Management: Supervise and mentor the account management staff, ensuring timely and accurate client service and policy administration.
  • Client Relationship Management: Act as the senior point of contact for high-level client issues and escalations.
  • Operational Oversight: Develop and implement processes to enhance the efficiency of account and administrative teams.
  • Strategic Planning & Process Improvement: Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and execute department strategies that align with overall company goals.
  • Compliance & Regulatory Management: Ensure the department is fully compliant with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in employee benefits, including experience in a leadership or management role.
  • Strong understanding of employee benefits administration, including self-funding, level-funding, compliance, and benefits technology platforms.
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
