Job Overview:

POSITION SUMMARY:

This role is essential in supporting the District Attorneys Office by delivering intricate data assistance through the collection, organization, and analysis of information necessary for grant reporting and documentation. The position involves monitoring achievements, objectives, and data for the Survivor and Victim Services Division of the DA Office. The incumbent will coordinate multidisciplinary case staffing processes and other services under the guidance of DA Office leadership. Additionally, this role includes identifying, drafting, and reporting on grants to bolster the DA Office's initiatives. The individual will oversee data gathering and grant reporting for all grants managed by the DA Office and support communication efforts.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution along with four (4) years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Preference will be given to candidates with certifications such as Certified Grant Administrator (CGA), Certified Grants Management Specialist (CGMS), Grant Professional Certification (GPC), or similar qualifications.

Due to the nature of this position, the successful candidate must pass an initial criminal background check and continue to meet the Bureau of Criminal Identification (BCI) requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Drafts grant proposals to secure funding for the DA Office.
  • Manages online grants management systems and data entry tasks.
  • Assists in the preparation and compliance with contracts and agreements related to grants and external funding, adhering to Federal, State, and County regulations.
  • Contributes to both short-term and long-term planning and program execution.
  • Collects and maintains data within the DA Office database systems for various victim program services, ensuring data integrity through quality assurance tasks.
  • Monitors DA Office program services, metrics, and outcomes for program evaluation and federal grant reporting.
  • Supports the development of forms, tracking tools, and other methods for data collection and retrieval.
  • Oversees database entries, resolves discrepancies, and aids in developing tracking procedures.
  • Provides requested information and compiles reports on a weekly, quarterly, and annual basis as per DA Office requirements and grant obligations.
  • Creates and implements analytical tools such as statistical reports, graphs, and lists to clarify complex data.
  • Reviews source documents for accuracy and completeness.
  • May assist in developing materials for the DA Office's website, publications, and other communication platforms.
  • Facilitates multidisciplinary team meetings as required; coordinates the execution of case action plans with partner agencies to ensure follow-through.
  • Conducts outreach to victims of crime post-adjudication, completing assessments to identify needs and screen for services.
  • Develops and maintains partnerships and training for multidisciplinary collaborators.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

This position may require lifting and carrying objects up to a maximum of 50 lbs.
