Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Representative to join our team at Butch's Propane, LLC. In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining propane order volumes and market share by locating, developing, closing, and maintaining sales business relationships within an assigned group of customers and/or territory.

Salary: The estimated annual salary for this position is $150,000, plus commissions.

About the Role:

  • You will personally visit client sites and offices throughout the area of operations to generate sales, maintain, and develop relationships to expand current customer sales and grow the customer base.
  • You will locate new customer relationships by networking and cold calling.
  • You will develop relationships with potential new clients and expand relationships with existing clients.
  • You will close new business deals by prospecting leads, developing and negotiating pricing, and closing sales and repeat order relationships.
  • You will network through various industry and social events.
  • You will protect the organization's value by keeping information confidential and using discretion, sound judgment, and professionalism at all times.
  • You will help grow market share and volume by exploring and embracing assigned opportunities.

Requirements:

  • You must have a flexible schedule.
  • You must have a minimum of 2 years of Oil & Gas experience in a Sales role.
  • Prior propane sales experience is preferred.
  • You must have a safe driving history.
  • You must pass a criminal background check.
  • You must pass a drug test.
