Job Title: Health Science Advisor

Otsuka America Pharmaceutical, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Health Science Advisor to join our team. As a Health Science Advisor, you will play a critical role in engaging healthcare providers (HCPs) through a variety of in-person, virtual, and digital tools, offering expanded expertise regarding products and the approved conditions they treat.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of pharmaceutical or medical device sales experience and reside within commutable distance of 50 miles of the primary city in the sales territory. Previous cross-functional industry experience in commercial life sciences or related industry engaging with key healthcare ecosystem players is highly valued.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct proactive outreach to HCPs on topics such as product access, on-label information, and established guidance on patient care.
  • Personally engage customers through a variety of virtual or digital tools and direct customers to other colleagues as needed.
  • Facilitate speaker programs and organize local provider groups for discussions on experiences and outcomes with local/regional leaders.
  • Elevate opportunities and feedback to ecosystem lead, including local market insights to inform setting of local strategy and business goals.

Requirements:
  • A minimum of 2 years pharmaceutical or medical device sales experience.
  • Reside within commutable distance of 50 miles of the primary city in the sales territory.
  • Previous cross-functional industry experience in commercial life sciences or related industry engaging with key healthcare ecosystem players.
