About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and entrepreneurial-minded sales professional to join our Global Security Sales Organization as an Account Executive. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving double-digit revenue growth through new project identification, creation, and attach opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Lead Security Account Plans: Create and execute comprehensive security account plans and strategies for assigned regions and accounts, utilizing all available resources.
  • Drive Revenue Growth: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, and attach additional security solutions to existing accounts.
  • Forecast and Report Activity: Accurately forecast and report sales activity in line with expectations.
  • Lead Large Accounts: Identify major projects within large accounts and lead activities to improve product and service revenue.
  • Provide Pricing and Configurations: Offer customers and partners pricing and configurations to meet their needs.
  • Forge High-Level Relationships: Develop and maintain high-level relationships within critical strategic accounts to win incremental product and service business.
  • Partner with Technical Resources: Collaborate with technical resources to ensure technical excellence in all positioning, competitive analysis, proposals, and exchanges.
About You

You will be responsible for all sales of Cisco Security solutions and services. You will have a proven and quantifiable record of over-achievement, with a successful track record of closing both tactical and strategic opportunities.

Minimum qualifications include:

  • 7+ years of overall sales experience with at least 3+ years selling Security solutions
  • Direct touch sales combined with experience working in a matrixed organization and working with partners to improve results
  • Experience selling network security (Intrusion Detection, Firewall, VPN, and related technologies) or SaaS security offers
  • A good all-round knowledge of the Security Market

Preferred qualifications:

  • BS/BA or equivalent is highly preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
  • Proactive with the ability to succeed in a dynamic environment
  • High level of attention to detail, able to demonstrate competence in building and driving a large geographic plan across multiple accounts
  • MEDDPICC experience a plus
  • Ability to travel is required
