Job Summary

The Major Account Sales Executive is a key leadership role that drives the company's efforts to maintain and expand relationships with large, multi-location prospects and customers within an assigned territory. This position requires a sales professional with a strong track record of success in a business-to-business strategic sales environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain productive relationships with key personnel who make or influence the buy decision in assigned customer accounts and prospects.
  • Become a product expert in all of the company's product offerings to effectively bring the right solution to the customer.
  • Lead solution development efforts, including teaching the customer/prospect, tailoring the sales process to best address customer needs, and ultimately controlling the sales outcome.
  • Have a strong understanding of the customer's business to confidently communicate and sell the company's product solutions.
  • Coordinate the involvement of company personnel to meet account performance objectives and customer expectations.
  • Achieve assigned sales quota for all product lines in designated Refrigerated Accounts.
  • Meet assigned expectations for pricing and profitability.
  • Achieve strategic customer objectives as defined by the VP of Refrigerated Division.
Requirements
  • Four-year college degree from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum 5 to 10 years of successful sales experience in a business-to-business strategic sales environment.
  • PC proficiency.
  • This position requires extensive travel up to 60-75% of the time.
