Linamar Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Manager to join our team. As a key member of our facility management team, you will be responsible for overseeing all areas of Human Resources for the facility and managing the HR team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and direct the activities of the HR department for the facility.
  • Represent management and participate actively on various joint committees to maintain positive ongoing relations between management and employees.
  • Develops and implements measures to increase employee morale, motivation and satisfaction, while reducing turnover.
  • Coaches and consults managers and employees through the performance management process.
  • Develop and implement policies, programs and procedures in all areas of HR for the facility.
  • Establish and maintain department records, policies, procedures and reports.
  • Employee relations including coaching, mentoring, corrective counseling and investigations.
  • Annually review compensation plan to ensure internal and external equity.
  • Administer all benefit plans for all employees.
  • Review and monitor performance evaluation.
  • Recruit for all open positions both internally and externally to fill vacant positions to meet customer requirements.
  • Conduct exit interviews.
  • Coordinate apprenticeship and training programs.
  • Work Closely with Health & Safety
  • Plan and organize employee functions as required.
Credentials
  • Bachelor's degree required in Human Resources or related area.
  • Five (5) to Seven (7) years of progressive Human Resource experience.
  • Must have proven leadership skills.
  • Excellent Employee Relations skills.
  • Human Resources certification preferred.
  • Previous experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Experience with production launches is a definite asset.
