Summary

The Inventory Control Analyst will be responsible for maintaining a robust Inventory Management System in collaboration with the operations and Cycle Count Teams, ensuring accurate transactions within the ERP system and actively participating in auditing processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Spend a significant portion of time in the warehouse conducting recounts, auditing previous counts, and reviewing inventory processes to identify discrepancies.
  • Manage inventory adjustments within the ERP System and facilitate communication with relevant stakeholders.
  • Investigate, analyze root causes, and propose solutions for any discrepancies in reconciliation.
  • Oversee daily cycle counts and manage variation reconciliations.
  • Evaluate and validate inventory adjustments.
  • Contribute to the development of Standard Operating Procedures and compliance audits.
  • Train inventory associates on their responsibilities and functions.
  • Establish and uphold systems and controls to ensure the integrity of inventory accounting systems and data.
  • Perform tasks safely, accurately, and efficiently.
  • Adhere to established Cycle Count procedures.
  • Assist with various warehouse projects as needed.
  • Manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and adapt to changing work conditions.
  • Work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Provide support to Operations Supervisors and hourly associates regarding inventory-related issues.
  • Operate effectively in a fast-paced environment, ensuring timely replenishment of materials.
  • Collaborate closely with Warehouse Management to identify process improvements and implement corrective actions.
  • Exhibit a high level of attention to detail.
Qualifications
  • A High School Diploma is required; an Associate's degree or higher from an accredited institution is preferred.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in warehouse inventory control, preferably within the aerospace sector, along with over 3 years of experience using an ERP System (SAP is preferred).

Desired Skills

  • Strong proficiency in MS Excel and advanced analytical skills are essential.
  • Demonstrated time management, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic mathematical skills.
  • Familiarity with MS Office Products.
  • Knowledge of supply chain management is advantageous.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Capability to lift, push, or pull up to 30 lbs intermittently.
  • Requires a keen attention to detail.
