Role Overview

The Inventory Control Analyst will play a crucial role in maintaining an efficient Inventory Management System in collaboration with operations and cycle count teams. This involves managing transactions within the ERP system and actively participating in auditing activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Devote a significant portion of time to auditing and recounting inventory, reviewing processes, and identifying discrepancies.
  • Oversee inventory adjustments within the ERP system and ensure effective communication with relevant stakeholders.
  • Diagnose and analyze root causes of discrepancies, proposing resolutions and escalating issues to management as necessary.
  • Distribute daily cycle counts and manage reconciliation of variations.
  • Validate and analyze inventory adjustments for accuracy.
  • Contribute to the development of Standard Operating Procedures and compliance audits.
  • Train inventory associates on essential functions and processes.
  • Establish and uphold systems that ensure the integrity of inventory data and accounting processes.
  • Perform tasks safely, accurately, and efficiently.
  • Adhere to established cycle count procedures.
  • Assist with various warehouse projects as needed.
  • Manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and adapt to changing work conditions.
  • Collaborate with Operation Supervisors and hourly associates to address inventory-related issues.
  • Work independently in a dynamic environment while ensuring material replenishment.
  • Engage with Warehouse Management to identify process improvements and implement corrective actions.
  • Maintain a strong focus on detail and accuracy.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma required; an Associate's degree or higher from an accredited institution is preferred.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in warehouse inventory control, preferably within the aerospace sector, along with 3+ years of experience using an ERP system (SAP preferred).

Desired Skills

  • Proficient in MS Excel and possess strong analytical skills.
  • Demonstrated time management, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic mathematical proficiency.
  • Familiarity with MS Office products.
  • Knowledge of supply chain management is advantageous.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Capability to lift, push, or pull up to 30 lbs intermittently.
  • Strong attention to detail is essential.
