Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Administrative Assistant to join our team at Penn State Health. As an Administrative Assistant, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our department, ensuring the smooth operation of our daily activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to departmental staff, including answering phones, responding to emails, and preparing correspondence.
  • Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date records and files, both physical and electronic.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements, meetings, and events, as needed.
  • Prepare and edit documents, reports, and presentations, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Develop and implement administrative procedures to improve efficiency and productivity.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of administrative experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
