About the Role: As a member of the Worldwide Specialist Organization (WWSO), you will play a pivotal role in shaping the Go-To-Market approach for AWS' Microsoft workloads within the Media, Entertainment, Games & Sports sectors. Your insights will drive the creation of sales initiatives, partner collaborations, and innovative strategies that deliver measurable results for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the voice of the customer by collaborating with both field and central teams to relay customer feedback to product development teams. Lead the identification of custom feature requests tailored to unique customer needs.
- Provide advanced technical expertise to your aligned Go-To-Market teams, assisting in overcoming significant business challenges faced by our customers.
- Maintain high technical standards for specialist artifacts and documentation alongside your extended team.
- Work closely with your Go-To-Market colleagues to offer technical insights that enhance GTM strategies and support local marketing efforts through technical events and customer engagements.
- Serve as a thought leader by sharing best practices through various channels, including AWS blogs, whitepapers, reference architectures, and public speaking engagements.
Community Engagement: Guide and support an internal community of technical experts aligned with your customer base. Develop enablement materials to assist the broader Solutions Architect community in integrating new AWS solutions into customer architectures.
Basic Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in specific technology domains such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, or data analytics.
- 3+ years of experience in design, implementation, or consulting related to applications and infrastructures.
- 10+ years of experience in IT development or consulting within the software or internet industries.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and networking.
- Familiarity with SAP systems and their architectural and infrastructural requirements.
- Experience engaging with end-user or developer communities.
