Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Medical Director to join our team at Fairfax Behavioral Health. As a Medical Director, you will be responsible for leading our medical team, developing and implementing treatment plans, and ensuring the highest level of patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Medical Leadership: Provide medical direction and oversight to our medical team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care.
  • Treatment Planning: Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, taking into account each patient's unique needs and circumstances.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with our multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, psychologists, therapists, and support staff, to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Medical Education: Provide medical education to patients and their families, addressing their medical conditions, medications, and lifestyle modifications.
  • Quality Improvement: Participate in quality improvement initiatives, ensuring our services meet the highest standards of care.

Requirements

  • Medical Degree: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school.
  • Board Certification: Board certification in Family Medicine (ABFM) or Internal Medicine (ABIM).
  • Washington State License: Current, unrestricted license to practice medicine in the state of Washington.
  • Experience: Experience in behavioral health and psychiatry is highly desirable.
